Many seek a change in their career at one point or another, but for a highly specialised and niche industry like gambling, this often represents a loss of invaluable experience.

Focusing on this point, Slava Zhuk, a Ukrainian entrepreneur, and an advisor at Turbo Games who has worked in the iGaming industry since at least 2017 raises the point that most gambling professionals who exit the industry, return at some point or another.

Putting forward his ideas of why so many return to the field they once claimed to be tired of, Mr Zhuk argues that “the gambling industry is very dynamic” and is always developing.

“Every day something new happens here and, accordingly, there is high turnover and high speed in this business.

“When people leave for another industry, they realise that everything is wrong, more complicated and slower in the new place.

“They see that other markets are not as saturated, popular or developed as gambling is.

“Therefore, I believe that once you become an expert in the gambling market, you should not deceive yourself and think you can succeed in other areas too.

“Stay in the field of gambling and apply your knowledge in this field.

“There are not so many good specialists in our industry,” he concludes.
