Malta-based GM Gaming appoints Mauro Miceli as operations manager

Mauro Miceli has ed GM Gaming Limited, a Gzira-based iGaming operator, as operations manager, he announced this week.

Taking to social media, he wrote: “Today I started a new experience with GM Gaming Limited. Looking forward to learning about a new sector and to reach the full potential for the company.”

Mr Miceli has worked in a wide range of roles across various industries, with a particular focus on EU stakeholder outreach programmes.

This has included a stint as project manager at the Planning and Priorities Coordination Division, which aims to ensure the efficient absorption and management of European assistance, both EU and bilateral.

Following that, he worked for a year as communications coordinator at Malta’s Ministry of Health before ing the Malta-EU Steering and Action Committee (MEUSAC), which is the Government entity responsible for collaborating and coordinating with local stakeholders on EU-related opportunities.

Mr Miceli then moved to the European Union Programmes Agency, where he remained between 2012 and 2018. After this, he ed Lidl Malta as purchasing manager.

Aside from these positions, he has also served as an elected representative on the local Swieqi council and is founder and Malta Football Association council member for Swieqi United Football Club.
