Kindred Group

Kindred Group has been cited by respected employer Karriärföretagen as a Top Career Company for 2022, it announced on Tuesday.

This award recognises that Kindred – which has a strong presence in both Sweden and Malta – offers unique career and development opportunities for both graduate students and young professionals at the beginning of their careers.

“We are very proud to receive this recognition as one of Sweden’s Career Companies 2022,” commented Gavin Hayward, chief HR officer at Kindred Group.

Mr Hayward also detailed some of the initiatives the company has in place to the career growth of employees.

“We have numerous successful career journeys within Kindred from entry-level to senior management, as well as across different functions. Offering our employees the right tools, optimal conditions and enough challenges for on-the-job development is important for us.”

The award is granted after companies go through a “rigorous” selection process conducted by an expert and jury, and also considers factors such as employer attractiveness externally, social media presence and quality, as well as online career pages.

On Kindred’s award, the jury commented: ““Kindred Group is an international employer with exciting career opportunities and an engaging business culture. Through quality values such as equality and diversity, Kindred Group has developed an accepting and welcoming working environment.”

It singled out the company’s educational platform, Kindred Academy for special praise, stating that it helps employees acquire “new in-depth skills, expertise, and knowledge,” and called the company “an employer at the forefront.”

As to why Kindred places such an emphasis on staff development, Mr Hayward added: “Our people are our most valuable asset, and our success depends on attracting and keeping the best talent who recognise the importance of being a part of a winning team.”
