Seed and early stage iGaming accelerator, Happyhour.io, has welcomed two new senior executives, in the form of Lauren Farrell and Kurt Farrugia respectively who will serve as chief marketing officer and head of product.

Announcing her appointment on social media, Ms Farrel, a three-year alumni of LeoVegas Group, said she is “excited to such an innovative company.”

Ms Farrell brings with her to the role extensive experience in senior positions in the iGaming industry.

She worked for LeoVegas since 2019, first as head of marketing for the company’s brand, Royal Panda, then as marketing director for the same brand. Finally, she worked as commercial strategy director.

Prior to that, she spent time at Mr Green Online Casino, bet365 and OGaming.

“I look forward to launching a new and game changing casino brand very soon,” she added.

Mr Farrugia, the firm’s new head of product, is a crypto and iGaming specialist.

He s from iGaming Group and Samecoin, where he served as product manager and product leader and advisor.

Reflecting last week on his departure from the company, Mr Farrugia said: “These seven plus years have been amazing. I saw us growing from a small company of six people, to a group of companies employing over 200+ talented people across four offices.

“In a way, I kind of grew with the company as well,” he added.

Prior to his position at these companies he served served as technical project manager and excellence manager at iGamingPlatform.com.

Happyhour.io provides capital, technology, networking, and access to its partners, to ensure the companies and products it invests in will have an “outstanding launch and durable future.”
