On last week’s episode of Betsson Live, the Group’s fortnightly , the Malta-based iGaming giant hosted three of its award-winning customer service team, as part of a drive to inspire new to apply to the team.
Streaming live on social media, the lists (all expats) explained why they applied to work at Betsson, what aspects they like about working there, and how they find living in Malta.
“Great customer service is very important to our business and we are proud to offer exceptional services to our customers”, Melissa Zalbeigi, Head of Customer Service at the Group told local business portal WhosWho.mt.
Discussing the episode, she said: “Our teams are ionate about what they do, and in this episode, you can really see this ion come to life. Seeing that makes me feel extremely proud”.
Indeed, that pro-employee philosophy was apparent during the , with Tonje Lian, a Senior Customer Service Agent explaining that she was “really surprised” by the extent of the given to Betsson for the onboarding process.
Coming to Malta from Norway, she was glad to be picked up from the airport and taken straight to an apartment, provided free of charge by Betsson for employees’ first four weeks.
Similarly, Dan Lotsner, one of Betsson’s Customer Service Team Managers expressed his appreciation that the Group has an atmosphere in which talent can grow, and that it encourages professional improvement constantly.
Likewise, Harald Jorgensen, Responsible Gaming Analyst reflected that at the Group, you get “awesome colleagues and very good career progression”. Other benefits, he said, include (COVID-permitting), group activities, a gym allowance and free lunch.
They deserve all these benefits, according to Ms Zalbeigi, who explained, “We believe in our 200+ agents and encourage their career growth into different teams and departments and today’s interview is proof of that.”
